Dr. Ann E. Farash joined Hendersonville Pediatrics in July 2007 after retiring as a Colonel from the US Air Force following Hurricane Katrina. Dr. Farash received her Medical Degree in 1985 from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA and did her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Wilford Hall, United States Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Farash and her husband, also retired from the military, chose Western North Carolina as a great place to raise their family. Her professional interests are caring for the total child and she is passionate about early childhood literacy. Her personal interests include her church family, cooking, hiking and horses. |

Dr.
Ora Wells graduated from
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the
Medical College of Georgia. He received his pediatric
residency training at the Charlotte Memorial Hospital
and Medical Center. He served on the teaching staff of
the pediatric residency program in Charlotte as assisant
clinical instructor from 1980 - 1982. He joined Hendersonville
Pediatrics in 1982 and established the Brevard Office.
He serves on the Transylvannia County Suspected Abuse
and Neglect Team. He also has a special interest in diabetes
in children. Dr. Wells has a wife and three children.
He has distinguished himself in Transylvania County as
a bagpipe player. |

Dr.
Veresa Myers is a graduate
of University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill where she obtained her medical
degree as well. She completed her pediatric residency
at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She joined
our group in 1997, working with Dr. Wells in our Brevard
office. She has a special interest in pediatric oncology,
infectious disease, and has been on several medical
missions to South America, where she practices Spanish.
Dr. Myers and her husband live in Brevard. She enjoys
hiking, biking, piano playing, and traveling. |

Ron Buell, P.A. -C, is a North Carolina native who
returned to the area in 1993 after pursuing his education.
He received an Associate of Science degree from Brevard
College and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-med from Appalachain
State University. He graduated from the Physician Assistant
Program of Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1991 and
was subsequently certified by the National Committee
on the Certification of Physician Assistants. He is
registered with the North Carolina Board of Medical
Examiners. Ron and his wife live in Brevard. Ron enjoys
playing guitar and horseback riding. |
