Dr. Carol Wilson joined Hendersonville Pediatrics, PA Hendersonville office in September 2010 as a Board Certified Pediatrician. She earned her MD from the University of South Alabama, performed her Internal Medicine Internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA and her Pediatric Residency Training at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Wilson’s professional interests include interacting with families and watching her patients develop and grow.
Her personal interests include her daughter Isabelle, hiking and rescue animals.

Dr.
Linda Goodwin earned her M.D. degree at Penn
State after graduating from the University of New York
at Buffalo. She received her pediatric residency training
at Chapel Hill and spent an extra year in developmental
pediatrics. This prepared her to work with children
who have learning disabilities, physical delays and
behavioral problems. She is also interested in treating
teenagers. She joined our group in 1985. Her husband
is a psychiatrist in Hendersonville. The Goodwins have
one daughter and one son. Dr. Goodwin's interests include
hiking, cooking, bridge, and traveling.

Dr. Anne Smith is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Medical University
of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed her
pediatrics residency training and was chief resident
at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington,
D.C. Her special interests include adolescent medicine
and child development. She has learned some Spanish
through her experience in D.C's spanish speaking community.
She joined the practice in 2000. Her husband teaches
world history and coaches baseball at Hendersonville
High School. Dr. Smith enjoys running, hiking, cooking
and traveling. The Smiths have two daughters and a son. |

Dr. Derek Moss, M.D. is a graduate of the University
of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and the Medical College
of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his residency
at West Virginia University in Morganton, West Virginia
and stayed for another year as chief resident. Dr.
Moss and his wife Claire grew up in Atlanta, Georgia
and moved closer to Hendersonville to be with family.
The Moss' have three children. |

Dr. James V. Volk joined Hendersonville Pediatrics PA in 1975. He received his BA in Chemistry from Valparaiso University and his M.D. from Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Dr. Volk performed an externship at the U.S.P.H.S. Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA., and his Internship and Residency at the Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL and Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC respectively.
Dr. Volk is actively involved in the 4 Seasons Rotary Club, Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church, Boy Scouts of America and is a mentor for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Students from various medical schools.
He is married to Barbara Volk and has two children.
