Hendersonville Pediatrics is now offering the latest COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer-BioNTech, to children ages 6 months to 4 years. Children over 4 years old can receive this vaccine at local health departments and pharmacies by appointment. We are also offering the lastest RSV vaccine, Beyfortus (Nirsevimab-alip), for babies ages 0-8 months.

Time for Flu Shots - The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated against flu each year. Flu vaccination reduces the burden of flu illness, hospitalization, and death and getting vaccinated could also help protect those who are more vulnerable to serious flu illness, like babies and young children.
Flu and COVID-19 are two different viruses and require two different vaccines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends both vaccines and says it’s safe to receive them at the same time.
