Family Connects is an evidence-based program that was originally developed at Duke University and now is spreading nationally. Family Connects wants every newborn and their family to thrive in the community. Family Connect's foundation is a high quality nurse home visitation at 3 weeks of age. The nurse covers every topic important for safety and health (for mom and baby). Every doctor at Hendersonville Pediatrics wants this appointment to take place as our home health nurse frequently covers topics that could be missed at well child visits and is another set of eyes and ears for the doctors.
